Junebug is one of the longest does that I have ever seen. She has nice spring of rib, along with great depth of  body. Her udder is wonderfully capacious, though some may say she is not quite proportioned correctly or she has large teats but I feel she will only get better with age.

At three weeks fresh Junebug milked 14 to 15 pounds per day. We really love how much she produces and usually doubles everyone else in quantity!

Junebug will be left dry for 2013

Piper is a very correct doe. She stands on a nice set of feet and legs and also has the strongest front end in the whole herd, thus why she was added to the herd!! General appearance to me is very important and when you look at Piper, she is one striking girl.

Piper has consistently placed in the top three of her class all summer long, and finished off with a big bang! She was Grand Champion Saanen Jr. Doe at the MN state fair. We look forward to Nationals in MN this year with Piper and for her to eventually freshen. She comes from a very strong herd of Saanens that excel in the milking category!! We hope she will be able to add that milking ability to our Saanen herd.

Wordy has the general appearance that I want in all of my Saanens. When you look at her, her dairy wedge right down to the sharpness in her withers is just breathtaking. She has a smooth and long neck that blends into a smooth and well put together body. Wordy also has a nice mammary system. She milks down very nicely. She is high and wide in her rear udder with a nice globular shape. She could have more correct teat placing, but hey, teats are only four points.

We are very excited that we were able to add Wordy to the Patch of Heaven Saanen herd and we were even more excited when Wordy placed first with first udder in the yearling class at the Minnesota State Fair in 2011! Then in 2012 she surprised us even more when she was Reserve Champion Saanen Sr. Doe at the MN State Fair. She was also 4-H Overall Grand Champion Doe for my last year in 4-H over roughly 30 other does! We are very excited for 2013 and the National show coming to Minnesota. I have great faith in how Wordy has matured and look forward to her future!

Wordy is confirmed bred AI to White-Wave Legend Shiatsu due March 1st, 2013

Winne, as we like to call her, was not a planned purchase. I went over to WI to look at what Jeanette Haass had for milking does for sale. Just before we left, my mother asked Jeanette what Wordy had kidded with this year and she told us twin does so we went to see what they looked like. Another half an hour later, we loaded everyone into the car and came home with two goats when I was only planning on one. But if you look into Winny's pedigree, you see her sire is a Companeros buck that comes from very strong show and milk lines.

Winne has consistently placed in the top of her class at all the shows in 2012. Her half-sister, Wonder, and she have made a beautiful Produce of Dam at shows this summer as well! Winne has a strong front end assembly and is a very dairy doe. I am very excited for her to freshen as a two year old to see how the Companeros herd blends with the Kapra Vista herd. I love the body on Winne now we just wait for an udder!! Winne will be one to watch of ring the show ring in 2013.

Winne is confirmed bred to POH EL WordFind due Feb. 10th, 2013

There are benefits to having a small herd of goats. I can have almost all of them as my favorites!!! But Wonder is closer to the top of the list. She is smoothly blended from her neck into her withers as well as being a nice and dairy doe with great spring of rib. When you look at her from behind the set to her rear legs is beautiful. And there is a perfect area for an udder as well.

At the first show of the season Wonder was Grand Champion Jr. Doe in both rings proving just how special she is to me! Wonder will be bred to freshen in mid-February. There was a mix-up when breeding her, so we will await the arrival of kids to determine if they are full Saanen, or Saanen/LaMancha kids!!

Wonder is bred to either POH Lookin For A Good Time (Lamancha) or King-Farm SexE Bombshell due Feb. 19th, 2013

Little Booty Tang was just a week old when she made the long trip home to MN. My dad and I were headed out to Wendy of King-Farm in OH for my new buck kid when Wendy texted me wondering if I would be interested in a baby from Baby Re-Booty.  I didn’t even have to think twice. Just take a look through her pedigree and it is easy to see why I like this girl! I absolutely LOVE her grand-dam Sunset!!

Booty Tang is very correct in her feet and legs as well as being a very dairy doe. She has consistently placed in the top three in her class at all the shows this season, but could not seem to edge pass herd mates Piper and Wonder. I look forward to watching Booty Tang mature into a lovely dry yearling and await the long year before she will freshen as a two year old!
